The Time is Now

Konstfack’s Degree Exhibition 2017 is linked to our present times and also to the future, an exhibition that is a world of complexities, a world to be defined from undefined and flexible positions.

Urgent matters and also the main questions of the human condition follow us in this exhibition: who are we? What are we doing here? What do we want to do? Is it possible to do, to tell, to think? Is it possible to feel, to touch, to desire? In a context of uncertainty, the Konstfack Degree Exhibition offers a variety of possibilities to approach our times going far beyond the use of grammatical tools: art and creative practices find ways to deal with the complexity and nuances of the impossibility of a clear future. It is in the mass that we find ways, it is in the dialogues at the exhibition that we can compose reality.

This is your exhibition, this is ours. This is the time.

Konstfacks vårutställning 2017 knyter an till vår nutid såväl som vår framtid, en utställning som är en värld full av komplexa förhållanden, en värld som måste definieras utifrån odefinierade och flexibla positioner.

Vår samtids viktigaste frågor blandas med centrala frågor om mänsklig existens i denna utställning: Vilka är vi? Vad gör vi här? Vad vill vi uppnå? Är det möjligt att göra, att berätta, att tänka? Är det möjligt att känna, att beröra, att åtrå? I en osäker kontext erbjuder Konstfacks vårutställning en uppsjö av möjligheter att närma oss vår samtid, bortom användandet av grammatiska verktyg; genom konst och kreativ praktik hittar vi sätt att handskas med komplexitet och nyanser när vi omöjligt kan veta hur framtiden ser ut. Det är i massan vi hittar vägar. Det är i dialogerna i utställningen som vi kan komponera en verklighet.

Utställningen tillhör er; den tillhör oss. Det är dags.
