People care for and protect spaces they feel invested in. An area is eventually safer if people feel a sense of ownership and responsibility towards the area.*
The relationship between architecture and its context is easily overlooked and yet very important. With my research and installation, I want the spectators to imagine a new way to connect with the context that they are in. I also want to arouse the awareness of being in this specific location. I am looking for an alternative method to link the interior with the exterior. My investigation focuses on intangible elements, namely sunlight, shadow, reflection, refraction, and view. The composition of my objects is carefully articulated, in order to interact with these intangible elements.

Trots att den är så viktig förbises ofta den relation arkitekturen har till sin omgivning. Med min undersökning och installation vill jag väcka nya tankar om hur man kan knyta an till det sammanhang man befinner sig i. Jag vill även skapa större medvetenhet kring att befinna sig på en viss plats. Jag har sökt efter nya sätt att koppla insidan till utsidan genom att fokusera på immateriella element, så som solsken, skugga, ljusets brytning och utsikten. Placeringen av objekten är noga utvald för att de ska interagera med och synliggöra dessa element.
